my business stationery system
ok, i am having trouble picking on to stick with so give me your comments and tell mw which ones you like, PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE
business card, color-field? or no color-field? 2"x3.5"

letterhead 8.5"x11"

envelope #10

notepad 4.25"x5.5"

given nothing else has one, i say no colour field (but i dont dislike the colour field and in fact it gives the card itself more impact...but if its thematic..then ...no)
i like the envelope with the stuff all together in the bottom left
letterhead is a tougher call...i like the one with the birds on the left and the stuff bottom right..but i like them all. i also like the one with it all bottom right.
notepad...all together. dont wanna take up too much functional room.
i can feel my pulse in my neck.
i put in that new hard drive and windows is being weird. i can copy, in theory, but i cannot paste. and IE is being REEALLY weird. the genius of microsoft. come on apple...daddy wants a new powerbook.
Posted by: cary at March 15, 2004 12:04 AMi always start to type this and then i delete it cause i don't have time to finish it. In general i like when the birds are facing a lot of space, it just feels better to me. I like the colored field for the business card. I like #3, or #1 for letter head, the others the birds seem to conflict with edge? Envelope- middle one is one i am drawn too.
And your note pads-do you think you might want to lose some of the information to give you more space? Maybe just keep just your website? Well there is my opinion
a poof and a booyah
Posted by: steph at March 16, 2004 08:47 AMI'm in agreement with Steph about how I like when the birds are facing a lot of space and the point about the notepad. I like the reverse field on the card, but I also agree that it doesn't go with any of your other pieces. But, (in order to not help you at all) it does make the business card seem a little more important. Letterhead - #3, although I'd be interested to see what it looks like with text on it. Envelope - #2. Is that mailable? Notepad - #1, only b/c of Cary's point about #2 taking up too much space.
I'd like to suggest going to www.4by6.com for your cards. They're having a sale on their "satin" cards, that print 4 color on both sides, with an AWESOME satin finish. I could rub it for days. If you don't believe me, order a sample kit. It's free and gives you lots of samples. (same for everyone else)
Posted by: angie at March 16, 2004 05:22 PMthanks for the opinions, i forgot to ask though, do you guys like this better than the current 1 bird design? angie have you even seen the current business card?
i think i will stick with the color field back business card, and probably go with letterhead #2 envelope #2 although i am not sure that the post office will like it. and i think i will take stephs advice and reduce the info on the notepad. thanks guys.
Posted by: winslow at March 17, 2004 10:33 AMi like your one bird design.. i like the singularity of it.. it's very elegant and less busy. however, for the back of the business cards, i like the three bird design better than the one.
one bird seems more free.
like on your letterhead and stuff.. it'll be like flying away. i feel like the birds are being strained to stay in formation.
however, it'll look really good either way.
i'll cast my vote:
reversed business card
#1 letter head, #3 envelope

Posted by: sara at March 17, 2004 06:47 PMYea, I saw the one bird a long time ago...I think I like this better. But, it's hard to remember. (I'm no help.)
