my first impression before i even looked at what it said was...whoa corparoate logo....but i think that might have to do with the colors and the Jason Wallis font.
-the JW is genious...all i can think about is how bad i suck at logos, now. dang.
-i like the placement of the words in relation to the logo...how the colors go with the words and the way your eye moves...niner...all that is goood.
but it feels like a law firm or something serious. maybe im wacked up. i think its just the font . maybe thats what youre going for..i dont know.
what does jason think?
p.s. slow i miss you lets hang out and climb or something, k?

corporate huh? i think that the soft colors make it look "not coporate" , and garamond, a coporate font? i dunno, but jason loves it and i haven't gotten those comments from anyone else, so maybe you have a different view of coporate marks, anypoo, i am glad that you enjoy it other than that, and i must say that i was quite happy with the JW mark and i am glad that you saw it, because, well, you never know.

we totally need to hang out, but not for a week, because i am going to be in paris, france all next week, i leave tomorrow. so have fun whilest i be abroad. and wish me luck communicating with those french. and post up some on your latest stuff punk-a! ciao

that rocks my world. the jw is freakin awesome.
i love the font and colors.. elegant yet masculine. not fru fru wedding. not sure about the hole in the center that the words make with the W. however, the more i look at it the more it doesn't bother me. this is professional man. how long did it take you to come up with this?

Well, I think it's settled...we all love it. I agree about the space before the W...a little awkward. Maybe if you want to look at other fonts, look at some wedding invitations to see which ones are popular. This one if nice though. Maybe a new one could solve the "J/W" problem.

Dude...Paris? Why are you going there?

thanks guys for all the compliments, i am in paris because my dad is here on business and i got to tag along. lucky me.

who is this jason wallis?

Posted by: steph at March 31, 2004 01:57 PM

jason is a photographer with portico

yeah, angie the W is tough, there really isnt a font W that will compress enough to balance with the J so i am having to squeeze it myself, and i have a couple of ideas/options for the space between, you will just have to wait in suspense to see what winslini will do next!!!!!

muwahahaha muhahwahahahaha mumumumuhahwhwhwhwhahaha
