cover by committee
this is probably one the best examples so far of how a mental_floss cover evolves from my first take on it to the newstand copy. Just thought it might be interesting/enlightening. #3 was my favorite ...
#4 i think is my fav.
i like the gears coming from his brain rather than trying to make up part of his face.
i also like the gear-bulleted blurbs coming from the gears.
the first 2 are deceving because they don't have all the blurbs yet which makes me want to like them.
i like the little gear on how gas prices work :)
ok so i think i can just sit here all day and talk about the little gears.. so i am just going to finish this comment now.

I dislike:
1. when ben was centered - makes everything else look squished
2. the first cover - hurts my eyes
that's all very interesting
