GK BusiCards

Here are the business cards I spoke of. The paper is awesome, and it has a plastic coating which gives it a matte and smooth feel. I could rub them all freakin' day. They will be a little more panoramic than traditional cards b/c of the extra cuts I have to make.

graham, steph, angie, john? how about posting up some recent work? i wanna see what is going on. (interesting side note: right as i typed that last line i recieved and email from one Mr. Julie Chovanec)

this is an illustration i did for this last issue of mental_floss which should be on newstands in a few weeks i guess, i just got my copies of it yesterday. I did a couple of other ones too, but this was the strongest and my favorite. It is william faulkner and clarke gable on a hunting trip.

one other note, i will soon be the proud papa of a new 17" powerbook, its on it way to me as i type.

i got a set of mexican bingo (i dont know proper name for it) cards at a garage sale and since my website blows right now, i made it into a place to see these cards. just as something to be there.

New Name

Hey guys, I sort of have a new screenname, that was inspired by our own Stephanie Street...it's:

It's the best I could come up with, and CARY wasn't any help. So, add it to your lists...

this is my new desk...

well, at least it most likely will be, i just have to build it. the design is really nothing special, but i think it will function much better as a working desk than the current humongous drafting table that swallows my room whole.

i already have the legs (a recent find at J&J Junk) and where the drawer slots are below the desk there WILL be drawers, and hopefully they will all be different but similar in size, i only have one of them so far, i went looking today, but found nothing, i guess it will have to be back to J&J sometime soon. also note the powerbook, (17") i don't have it yet, but soon, if all goes to plan. and no i don't have a G5 and don't intend on getting one anytime soon, but i thought it a good idea to plan ahead for it, as an upgraded desktop is inevitable. the wood top will be a nice clean birch plywood, and the legs are sort of an olive green with some rust on them which i think will look really nice with a perfect, clean top.

But i have only put up a page with nothing working. I just wanted to hear you'ens thoughts before i get into flash. And you guys can bash it cause i am not married to it yet. I just kinda like it.
